India, the land of Leaders... is going through a very interesting phase. We are not the same country like in 1970s or 1980s, when we were known as Snake Charmers or the beggars. Today we are one of the most influential powers across the world. Over the years, the brain-drain was one of the biggest problems being faced by our country. But today we are attracting the best of talent across the globe to come and work for us. But we are lagging in some fields like- providing quality education, infrastructure and research environment to the young minds with immense potential.
We have millions of Graduates, engineers passingout of the Universities. Also there is huge demand in the industry for talented Managers. Why there is a gap in the demand and supply? When we have such a large pool of students and trainees, we are still searching for the right candidates. It is the responsibility of the Government and the Academicians as well to bring in latest teaching pedagogy and relate the Industry with the academics in the best possible way.
The need of the hour is to setup good institutions not only in the metros but in the remotest areas of the country, so that we can tap the talent to the fullest and bring out a new crop, which is rich in ideas and is capable of taking the country forward on the path of Global leadership.
There may be some people sayi9ng that Government should spend more money on this. But our industrial houses may also contribute to the cause which is eventually an investmenty on their part, since after graduating from such institutions, these talent pools may serve the industry in the best way.
